ASSIGNMENt 1 for OPEN HOUSE AND REVIEW PROJECT:

1. 1. Go to www.befunky.com
2. 2. Click on the block on the right side, center of page to “start having fun”
3. 3. Upload a photo from one of the sites mentioned
4. 4. Click on “Effects” on the left top
5. 5. Pick black & white
6. 6. Click “apply”
7. 7. Now under the effects button, click on Artsy
8. 8. Click on the submenu item “Sketcher”
9. 9. The block on the left is Sketcher 2 and will stay all b&w; the block on the right will put yellow or blue in your sketch. Pick the one on the left

10.Play around with the lines and warmth of the picture
11.When you have a final coloring page, hit ctl p to print
12.Ignore ANY AND ALL ads trying to sell you something!
13.Print to your local printer, or at school to the nearest bizhub
14.Voilà your coloring page

In class

1. 1. Color your page some fun colors; maybe your hair is green or purple, for example
2. 2. Once your page is colored, take a sheet of paper from your binder
3. 3. Write a paragraph draft of 6 sentences telling us who you are in French/Spanish
   1. a. Hello
   2. b. My name is . . .
   3. c. I am from . . ./I live . . . .
   4. d. I am years old.
   5. e. I am _ physical description
   6. f. I have _ color hair
   7. g. I am ___ personality description
   8. h. Nice to meet you all!
4. 4. Review draft with a peer and teacher
5. 5. Make a final copy; attach to colored paper and coloring sheet.
6. 6. Turn in by Thursday at the start of class.
